Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Hassan Niazi has decided to participate in the general elections.

PTI leader Hasan Niazi has decided to contest the general elections after which his mother has approached the High Court for permission to sign the nomination papers.



In the petition filed in the Lahore High Court, the federal and Punjab government and the commanding officer were made parties and the position was adopted that the Election Commission has announced the election schedule, Hasan Niazi is neither ineligible nor convicted.

He requested that the High Court should allow Hasan Niazi to complete the process of submitting the nomination papers and allow the Oath Commissioner to meet Hassan Niazi to verify and sign the nomination papers.
