Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Karachi Zone has released the performance data for 2023.



According to the report, during the year 2023, dozens of actions were taken against money laundering, reference handi, human traffickers and advertising suspects.

According to the statement, 8 cases were registered against the elements involved in illegal currency exchange during one year, 19 accused named in the cases were also arrested. During this time, one lakh 14 thousand 176 US dollars, and 7 lakh 4 thousand 480 rupees worth of other foreign currencies were recovered from the accused.

The spokesman says that during the operations, 437.5 million 6289 Pakistani rupees were also exported, under the guise of various businesses, they were involved in currency exchange and currency exchange without license.

On the other hand, 264 suspects involved in crimes, visa fraud, and 74 suspects involved in human trafficking were arrested, among the arrested suspects are 50 advertisers and the most wanted human traffickers of Red Book.

During this year, 87 cases were registered against human traffickers, 194 cases were investigated challans were collected, and 22 human traffickers were sentenced.
